About

I’m a composer and jazz musician currently double-majoring in Music and International Relations at Tufts University. I’ve studied composition for many years with Preben Antonsen, Joseph Stillwell, and most recently with Ben Stolorow. My piano composition style is a fusion of minimalist, ambient, and modern classical, and I’ve been experimenting with digital music compositions (after studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Technology and Applied Composition Immersive). My song, “Briarlight,” was a Semifinalist in the 2024 Music International Grand Prix’s Teen Original Composition category. I’m a pianist in Tufts University’s Jazz Orchestra, conducted by Joel LaRue Smith, after studying with Sarah Cline in Berkeley High School’s Jazz Ensemble.

I’ve also done some music software programming. At UC San Diego’s COSMOS Music and Technology program, I created with two other students a program called CloudChord, an automatic chord progression generator that harmonizes with any microphone input.
